I had known about my scoliosis since I was 15 and declined an operation. Thirty years later I decided that because the pain was increasing and I felt like a soggy cake, that I would start my scoliosis journey. I first saw Claudia and her scoliosis coaching on social media. I really liked her vibe and her knowledge. I had simple expectations - I would get a few exercises for my back. And as someone who has spent 20 years doing yoga/pilates/dance/physio work I was curious about what I would learn.
What I received was spine tingling. Support, a wealth of information, corrective exercises and techniques as well as sleeping positions that are for my individual curves. I found Claudia supportive from the start and her knowledge about my own curves and pain made me feel seen and heard but also as if she had known me and my back my whole life!
Claudia helped guide me to seeing and feeling my curves differently and being my cheerleader. I enjoyed our weekly sessions as they really helped to get my true form for my exercises. I have now gone from feeling like a soggy cake around my torso area to feeling like I am able to support myself upright sooo much more. I can hold my chest proudly up and out and that collapsing feeling has really lessened. I feel I can take a deeper breath, I feel better when I wake up! And my winged scapula that poked out? My husband pointed out to me that it has really gone back down so much flatter than before. And when I protract my shoulders back, both scapulas go back at the same time! This whole 8 week experience has done more for me than the past 20 years of strength work. Why? Because it was tailored to my scoliosis and my spine.
Finally I have seen real change because my spine is working in alignment rather than me sitting in my scoliosis. It has been a total life changing experience and Claudia deserves the credit for getting me feeling taller, stronger and taking up more space!

I have been diagnosed with scoliosis a few years back. I am client living in Mauritius. I have come to know about while researching online on available therapies to treat scoliosis. Scoliosis therapist is not available in Mauritius, the only methods available are the passive, conventional physio sessions but nothing specific like the schroth method.
I have been able to follow the private coaching with Claudia from March to May 2024 and honestly, I think the before and after pictures speak for themselves. The elongated figure is visible enough. And actually see the improvement is enough to trigger myself mentally and boost my confidence to pursue and keep my routine consistent for a better alignment.
What I got from this 12 weeks is concise knowledge about my condition and to prepare myself mentally to accept it. I also learnt about how take control of my scoliosis and work on achieving it. Even if right now it is still a work in progress. The sessions are definitely engaging because my ability to connect with my body and my weekly descriptive feedbacks to Claudia enabled her to customize the workouts to better suit my condition. For e.g even if I have mild scoliosis, Claudia has been aware of the instability of my right leg/knee and the stretchy feeling i was feeling most of the time at my right knee. She modified the side lying position to better support my right knee and so i felt less discomfort. In so doing I was then able to focus onto breathing into my concavities and do my corrective exercises without much discomfort.
My relationship with my scoliosis is also a work in progress. At first I was dissociating myself from it but Claudia has taught me how to accept it. She has helped me to shift how I was viewing it and she introduced me to a new perspective of how life can still be with scoliosis. I look forward to continue my journey with Claudia by my side as I endeavour to build my independence.

Before I met Claudia, I had so much back pain, a low self image, and to me scoliosis was something that was foreign and scary due to a late diagnosis. Claudia taught me everything I needed to know and more. She taught me how to love my curves, validated my feelings with my pain, and listened to what my body needed. Is my back pain completely gone? No. But what I have now is a transformed relationship with how I view my scoliosis.
When I have a day that is more painful than others, I know what to do instead of drowning in my pain. I’ve learned to live with my scoliosis instead of having it control my life.
